So I spent about 3 and a half days in Malmo and a day in Copenhagen. I've decided to split my Scandanavia post into two parts - Touristy Stuff and Random Hilarious Awesomeness. Yes, that last part is flawless grammar and excellent use of vocabulary!

What I did:
- August 20, 2012 - Arrival in Kobenhavn, train to Malmo (across the bridge, about total 30 minutes travel time).
- August 21, 2012 - Helped Zophia with some cleanup duties to set up the new student bar at Malmo University.
- August 22, 2012 - Walked around Malmo and expored the city.
- August 23, 2012 - Train to Kobenhavn, explored the city, returned to Malmo to watch the Hives perform at the annual Malmo Festival with Zophia and Sebastian.
- August 24, 2012 - Went around and checked out the Malmo Festival with Zophia, took a paddle boat around the canal with Zophia & Seb, stayed up late and watched Timbuktu (a Swedish rapper) perform at the Malmo Festival.
- August 25, 2012 - Woke up stupidly early to fly off to Berlin.
Highlights:
- Food - Seb & Zophia's homemade Swedish meatballs were amazing. I think they just ruined the Ikea meatballs for me... :P THANK YOU for that! :D
- Malmo Festival - It ran this year from August 17 - 24. My timing was totally awesome. It was crazy - the city was packed because of all the tourists, the weather was (mostly) pretty nice, I got to see some awesome performances, there were all sorts of food tents set up everywhere, and they did an amazing job decorating everything (they even brought in sand and set up a beach volleyball court in the middle of the city centre).
- Swedish people - Beautiful inside and out! All the Swedes I met were amazing at making me feel at home. Most of the time, they even held their conversations in English so I wouldn't feel left out! Thanks for introducing me to all your friends Zophia, and thanks for making me feel welcome everybody!!! :D
- Having to leave! I didn't get to spend enough time here :(
